5-Star Clip Manager

Overview

5-Star Clip Manager is a dedicated Rockstar Editor clip manager for Windows from 5-Star Films, built for creators who record a lot and want to sort and preview them in one place instead of digging through folders in File Explorer. Point it at a GTA V clips folder and every capture is there, with a thumbnail, size and created date.

It is made for GTA V and FiveM creators who end a session with dozens of captures and need to sort, preview and move them without leaving one window.

Features

  • One library. Every clip in one place with its thumbnail, file size and created date, and a Most recent marker on the newest capture. The list refreshes by itself as new clips land in the folder.
  • Preview without leaving. A preview panel plays common video formats in the app, or shows a still when a matching thumbnail sits next to the clip.
  • Sort how you work. By created time, modified time, size or name, in either direction.
  • Select in bulk. Multi-select, select all and range selection, including keyboard-driven selection.
  • Move, copy and delete. Move to folder and Copy to folder keep keepers and project folders organized, and every delete, move and copy can be undone.
  • Show in Explorer. Jump to any file to hand it off to the Rockstar Editor or another tool.
  • Three themes. Blue, Cyan and Frutiger Aero, switchable from the top bar.

5-Star Clip Manager is free to download, or you can pay what you think it is worth. It is hosted on Gumroad, where the installer and any updates live. Nothing is sold on this site: the app page links straight to the Gumroad listing.
